View Jill & Johnny's Attended Concert Tour Dates

What do you get when you cross a financial advisor and an accountant with a heavy metal concert?  A rock n' roll ice cream shop of course! This is how it all began...

Johnny & Jill went up the hill to a Metallica show Johnny stuck around, Jill moved to Middletown And all that could be heard was the screams for rock n roll ice cream and laughter

   Jill & Johnny's paths had been crossing for years or should we count it in rock n roll shows. They had been aware of it for the past few years, but it wasn't until they got together that they realized their paths had been crossing since they were teens. Both having that financial edge and entrepreneurial spirit combined with a passion for rock n roll were a perfect match. Both were out of control with their passion for the music and together they became electric. As they began there relationship Jill stopped asking what show they were going to but in what state he was taking her (she had never crossed state lines). Johnny was unstoppable, with no destination to far as long as he had a car, full tank of gas and a camera (along with a disposable camera, extra film and batteries as back up). Luckily there passion for music was as broad as the miles they traveled to see all these shows. Some called them crazy and wondered when they would out grow their adolescent musical taste, but once they found each other like 2 peas in a pod, they thought them selves unique and decide to never let their musical past grow up!

   Jill being in her own business, Johnny previously having had his own ice cream shop several years prior with the constant calling to revive his shop combined with a series of events, or the everything happens for a reason philosophy took over from there and it all kind of fell into place. The desire to keep the passion of the music alive with a venture that was fun as well as innocent was just what we needed.   A way to turn our musical passion into a business, and an idea that could not be ignored.  

   It all really began to become more of a reality in the winter of 2004, after a trip to Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, to see a Kid Rock show. Upon arriving back home, Jill reached into the freezer for a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream as Johnny teased her with his philosophy about the music of today.  Jill told Johnny he had better be careful because she would open her own ice cream shop with all rock ‘n roll flavors and Kid Rocky Road would be her first flavor!  Well the Metal Gods took over from there and it was unstoppable.  

   So with a little patience, a year later, living together in Middletown with their 2 furry feline friends by there side (Maiden and Pantera) 80 Licks Ice Cream Café was ready to rock n roll! But as the song goes... we would have never gotten by with out a little help from our friends. The Metal Gods continue to watch over us. And for those about to rock, we salute you!
